A new update to REmessenger released this weekend now allows you to post Newsletters and Social Flyers to Facebook Pages.
Until now REmessenger has only posted your Messages to the Wall of your Facebook account. But of course we know that many REALTORS® use Facebook Pages to communicate news and other information with clients.
If you already have your Facebook account connected to REmessenger then you will need to disconnect and re-connect, so that REmessenger can gain access to your Pages.
Connecting your Facebook account, and Facebook Pages, to REmessenger is simple. And once the connection is made you’ll be able to post your Messages to Facebook automatically as part of your Message Targeting.
Once you are signed into REmessenger click the Account link at the top right, and then select the Social Media option from the My Profile menu. This will display your Twitter and Facebook account connections.
Make sure you have your Facebook user name and password handy, then click the button to ‘Connect to Facebook’.
Note: If you have multiple Facebook accounts, please make sure you are signed out of Facebook. Go to www.facebook.com
, and click the menu option to sign out.
A new window will open, asking you to Login to Facebook. Enter your Facebook email address and password and click Log In.
On the next window click the Go to App button.
The next window will ask you to confirm permissions. These permissions are necessary so REmessenger can post your Messages to Facebook, and gather statistics such as Likes and Comments on your Facebook posts. Click the Allow button.
You will then be taken back to the Social Media page on REmessenger, which will update to show your connection to Facebook, including listing any Facebook Company Pages that are linked to your Facebook account. When you are setting the Targeting for your REmessenger messages you’ll be able to select one or more of these to which to post your Messages.
You can disconnect your Facebook account from REmessenger at any time, just click the Disconnect link.
Previewing your Facebook Post
We’ve also improved the presentation of the Preview of your Facebook post when you are setting up your Message, now the layout and style much more closely reflects how the post will look on Facebook.
